SCHOOLDEMIA TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Welcome to SchoolDemia. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SchoolDemia platform, including all services, features, and content provided through our web and mobile applications.

By accessing or using SchoolDemia, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

1. DEFINITIONS

  • “Platform” refers to SchoolDemia’s website, mobile app, and services.
  • “User” refers to schools, administrators, teachers, parents, students, or any individual using the platform.
  • “Services” refers to all features including school management, communication tools, WardGuard integration, and related functionalities.

 

2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By registering or using SchoolDemia, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood these Terms.
  • You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • If you are using the platform on behalf of a school, you are authorized to do so.

 

3. USER ACCOUNTS

  • Users must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • SchoolDemia is not liable for unauthorized access due to user negligence.
  • Accounts may be suspended or terminated if false information is provided.

 

 

4. SERVICES PROVIDED

SchoolDemia provides:

  • School management tools (attendance, grading, communication, etc.)
  • Parent-teacher communication features
  • Student monitoring and safety services (WardGuard integration)
  • Data management and reporting tools

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services at any time.

 

5. PAYMENT TERMS

  • Certain features may require subscription fees.
  • Payments must be made as agreed between SchoolDemia and the subscribing school.
  • Failure to make payments may result in suspension or termination of services.
  • All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

 

6. DATA PRIVACY AND PROTECTION

  • SchoolDemia is committed to protecting user data.
  • Personal and institutional data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
  • Schools are responsible for obtaining consent from parents/guardians before uploading student data.
  • We do not sell user data to third parties.

 

7. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

Users agree not to:

  • Use the platform for unlawful or harmful activities
  • Upload false, misleading, or inappropriate content
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or compromise the system
  • Share login credentials with unauthorized persons

 

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • All content, software, and branding related to SchoolDemia are owned by the company.
  • Users may not copy, distribute, or reproduce any part of the platform without permission.

 

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

SchoolDemia shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect or consequential damages
  • Data loss due to user negligence
  • System downtime beyond reasonable control

Use of the platform is at your own risk.

 

10. TERMINATION

We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
  • Restrict access without prior notice if misuse is detected

Users may also terminate their use of the platform at any time.

 

11. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

SchoolDemia may integrate with third-party tools. We are not responsible for:

  • Their content or services
  • Any issues arising from their use

 

12. AMENDMENTS

SchoolDemia may update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

 

13. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
